The team · Amsterdam

The people in the
room with you.

Five operators — each one has run a company before this, led a team under pressure, and made the call when the room went quiet. None of them came to this work through a coaching certificate.

— a small practice, by intention.
01 · The way we work

Direct, but not aggressive.

Three things sit underneath every engagement we run. Not values on a wall — the actual mode of operating that decides whether a session moves the team forward or doesn't.

i.

Direct under pressure.

We name the thing in the room when it shows up — not as a position, as an observation. Honest, but never aggressive.

ii.

Operator perspective.

We've sat in the seat. We don't perform expertise. We work alongside leadership teams with the structure of years inside the operation.

iii.

Hold the hard conversation.

The conversation you've been avoiding is usually the one your team needs you to start. We make the room safe enough for it to actually happen.

02 · The team

Operators, not coaches.

Each person here has sat in the chair you're sitting in. Built a company, ran an operation, made the call when the room went quiet. We bring that experience into your room.

Founder · Facilitator

David Kellerman

Built and ran a mission-driven company for seven years before this. Knows the founder who can't let go, the one who mistakes strong individual hires for a team, and the one who's quietly running on fumes. Works with scaleup leadership teams on the dynamic at the top.

Operations · Systems

Judith Walker

Helped grow African Clean Energy from early-stage into a 500-person operation across Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. Brings structure where things feel messy — systems that clarify performance, customer experience, and what "scaling" actually means in practice.

Group facilitation

Daniel Philips

Held VP roles in fast-moving digital companies before moving into facilitation. Reads how change actually lands inside teams — where resistance surfaces, what creates engagement, what people need to stay resilient through a transition.

Mission alignment

Valerie Hirschhauser

Built and exited Frank About Tea, an impact-driven company. Now works with mission-led organisations on the tension between purpose and performance — turning impact ambitions into concrete priorities and decisions that actually hold.

03 · Why us

We've carried the weight.

Most coaches haven't. We have.

Built companies. Led teams. Made the wrong hires. Carried decisions that kept us up at night. Felt what pressure does to people, teams, trust, accountability. So we don't coach from the sidelines.

We don't get distracted by the surface, either — another model, another workshop, another offsite that evaporates by Wednesday. Most team problems don't get solved that way.

You have to work with what's actually in the room. The tension. The avoidance. The things people feel but won't say. That's where something real shifts.
